Wedgewood, a veterinary compounding pharmacy and online pharmacy, announced the appointment of Benjamin Daniels in the newly created role of chief compliance officer and general counsel.

Daniels will lead Wedgewood’s legal, regulatory, compliance, and quality team and report directly to Alejandro Bernal, chief executive. 

Previously, he served in the same role at startup KORB Health Group, where he oversaw all legal matters, developed enterprise compliance programs, and spearheaded revenue growth through strategic partnerships.

Daniels has also held key roles at Amazon, where he contributed to the launch of its groundbreaking pharmacy operations and Fresenius Medical Care. He also practiced law at Foley & Lardner and has held leadership positions with the American Health Law Association, where he currently serves as chair of the life sciences practice group.
