Blockchain fintech Paxos announced the appointment of Carolina Ceballos as chief compliance officer.

Ceballos joins Paxos as its first dedicated CCO and will be responsible for ensuring the company meets its global regulatory obligations and continues to act as a trusted partner for clients on all compliance issues.

She joins Paxos with more than 15 years of experience in the field, having provided strategic leadership to teams responsible for developing, implementing, and enhancing compliance programs at Facebook Payments (Meta) and Western Union.

She held similar leadership roles at HSBC and Lazard and brings unique expertise having served as a regulator with the French Supervisory Authority.
