International financial services company NN Group announced that Wilbert Ouburg will be appointed chief risk officer and member of the management board, effective Oct. 1.

Ouburg is currently chief risk officer of Nationale-Nederlanden Life and Pensions.

He joined NN Group in 2017 as head of risk models. In 2021, he was appointed CRO at Nationale-Nederlanden Life and Pensions, contributing to the business unit’s risk management capabilities, active management of longevity risk, and improved financial strength through optimization of risk and return.

Prior to joining NN Group, he held various expert and management positions at Delta Lloyd.
