Regulatory changes in the U.S. and Europe are moving at dizzying speed, and often in opposite ideological directions.
In a recent Compliance Week and Resolver survey of compliance professionals, a third of respondents indicated that managing regulatory change is their top challenge. However, only one in five respondents reported their firms are addressing the problem proactively. The survey also indicated that compliance teams at financial services firms had different concerns, with horizon scanning for future regulatory changes being their top issue.
