Amber Road, a provider of global trade management solutions, has opened an office in Munich, Germany to serve as its EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) headquarters.

"With the EMEA headquarters coordinating our region-wide activities, we can better serve our existing and future customers, complementing our local representations with enhanced resources and expertise for a wider range of functions,” said Amber Road President John Preuninger.

The strong demand for its global trade management solutions in Europe has fueled the company's growth in the geography. Amber Road now employs full time sales, pre-sales, marketing, professional services and technical support personnel throughout Europe, many of whom now work out of the Munich headquarters.

The new office will support and complement the activities of Amber Road's existing sales offices in the Netherlands, Switzerland and Great Britain. The aim is to grow the business more rapidly in Europe and to provide a first rate implementation and support experience for European customers.
