Chief Accounting Officers, Controllers

Ianotti

Jacksonville, Fla.-based Rayonier has promoted Joseph Iannotti to corporate controller. Iannotti has served as assistant controller of financial reporting since joining Rayonier in April 2001.

KMG America Corp., based in Minnetonka, Minn., has announced the resignation of Glenn Sackett as controller and chief accounting officer. Robert Matthews will replace him as chief accounting officer. Since 2003, Matthews has been executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer of Kanawha Insurance, a subsidiary of the company.

Chicago-based Telephone and Data Systems has announced the retirement of Michael Jack as controller. Jack will continue to serve as a consultant for the company through Feb. 15, 2008.

Atlanta-based Roberts Realty Investors has promoted Mark Gordon to corporate controller. Gordon is a certified public accountant and has been with the company since the start of the year. His experience includes four years in the property management industry and, more recently, three years with Reznick Group, the company’s independent auditors.

The board of directors of Yadkin Valley Financial in Elkin, N.C., has appointed Julie Mason controller. She has been employed by the bank since December 2003.

Bronco Drilling has named Steven Starke as its chief accounting officer. Rebecca Smith will replace him as the company’s controller. Smith has served as assistant controller of the company since September 2005.

General Counsels, Corporate Secretaries

VHA, the national health care alliance, has hired Michael Regier as its new general counsel and senior vice president of legal and corporate affairs. Regier joins VHA from Seton Healthcare Network in Austin, Texas, where he served over the last 12 years as senior vice president of legal affairs and general counsel for the multi-hospital system.

Guardian Industries has announced the appointment of attorney David Jaffe as secretary and general counsel, responsible for all legal matters. Jaffe joined Guardian in 1990 and has held a variety of legal positions over the past 17 years. He succeeds Robert Gorlin, who remains a vice president and senior adviser.

McDevitt

Tampa, Fla.-based TECO Energy announced the retirement of Sheila McDevitt as general counsel and chief legal officer. Charles Attal has been promoted to vice president and general counsel. David Schwartz, currently assistant general counsel and corporate secretary, has been promoted to vice president of governance and compliance, associate general counsel, and corporate secretary.

Board of Directors

PGT, a manufacturer and supplier of residential impact-resistant windows and doors based in Venice, Fla., has elected William Morgan and Daniel Agroskin to the board of directors. Morgan also will serve as a member of the board’s audit committee. These appointments increase the number of directors from 9 to 11.

United Natural Foods, based in Dayville, Conn., has appointed Peter Roy to the company’s board of directors. He will also serve as a member of the board’s compensation and finance committees.

The board of directors of Applied Materials, based in Santa Clara, Calif., has appointed Robert Brust as chairman of the audit committee. Brust replaces Philip Gerdine, who will continue to serve as a member of the board’s audit committee.

Jones

Chicago-based Boeing has elected retired Marine Corps Gen. James Jones to its board of directors, as a member of the board’s audit and finance committees. The election of Jones brings the total number of members on the Boeing board to 11.

The board of directors of Rogers, Conn.-based Rogers Corp. has named Carl Hsu its new director, as a member of the audit committee. Hsu will serve as a director until the next annual meeting of shareholders and then until his successor is chosen and qualified. His appointment increases the size of the board from 9 to 10 members.

Oracle has announced the availability of Oracle Governance, Risk, and Compliance for financial services, an initiative to address key GRC issues specific to the financial services industry. Oracle GRC delivers oversight functions that can gauge the effectiveness of governance policies and procedures as driven by internal and external directives.

Mitratech, a manufacturer of legal, compliance, and security risks software based in Los Angeles, has named Alexander Anvari as vice president of compliance solutions. Prior to joining Mitratech, Anvari served as an executive at LRN.

Baltimore-based FTI Consulting, the global business advisory firm dedicated to helping organizations protect and enhance their enterprise value, has appointed James Gouin as a senior managing director in the FTI Corporate Finance segment. Prior to joining FTI, Gouin spent more than 20 years in senior management positions while at Ford Motor Co.
