Warner Bros. Entertainment has named Mark Easton as deputy general counsel, effective in May.

Easton joins Warner Bros. from O'Melveny & Myers, where he was a partner in the firm's Los Angeles office and a member of the Mergers and Acquisitions Practice. He has advised public and private corporations, private equity funds, boards of directors and financial advisors in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and other transactions, as well as corporate governance and securities law matters, in a broad array of businesses, including entertainment, internet, sports, and telecommunications.

In his new post, Easton will work closely with Executive Vice President and General Counsel, John Rogovin, supervising the legal support for the business transactions of the Studio on a global basis as well as assist the corporate staff to identify and delineate long-term growth strategies and business plans for Warner Bros.
