VCS, a provider of Software-as-a-Service healthcare compliance and credentialing solutions, has appointed Kesha Boykin-Mclean as chief compliance officer. In this role, she will provide strategic direction and input to the company's products and solutions.

With more than 20 years of experience in a wide range of healthcare compliance roles, Boykin-Mclean most recently served as an independent healthcare consultant, assisting hospitals with the planning and implementation of compliance programs.

Prior to that, she held a number of senior-level compliance positions, including as chief compliance officer for St. Francis Hospital in Connecticut. Boykin-Mclean also served as the division ethics and compliance officer for the Hospital Corporation of America's Gulf Coast Division, where she was responsible for oversight of compliance programs for several hospitals within the division.
