USA.NET, a subsidiary of Perimeter, a provider of integrated messaging and collaboration services, has announced the availability of an enhanced version of its Commercial Messaging Service 2.0.

The hosted e-mail solution comes in two different packages, CMS Web, and CMS Enterprise, that both allow users to access e-mails from any Web browser with an Internet connection, any desktop e-mail clients including Outlook, Outlook Express, and Entourage, as well as from most wireless devices. Both solutions also allow a high degree of application programming interface integration with customer business applications such as Customer Relationship Management platforms, databases, and alerting, among many others.

CMS Web includes multi-layered virus and spam protection, an address book with Lightweight Directory Access Protocol access, auto-responders, scheduled message delivery, flexible mail delivery, administration features, and other services. Users can also view their e-mails from their mobile devices through either a Wireless Application Protocol Webpage designed for CMS, or via POP or IMAP access.

CMS Enterprise includes all the capabilities of the CMS Web solution, with additional features such as wireless and two-way outlook synchronization, calendaring, tasks, notes, Web-based reporting and flexible storage allocation capabilities. Add-on features such as encrypted e-mail, content filtering, and Instant Messaging, are also available in the CMS Enterprise package.
