Global professional services firm Towers Watson has named Mark Reid as global leader for its executive compensation consulting practice, effective Jan. 1, 2014.

He succeeds Doug Friske, who will continue to be part of the talent and rewards segment's leadership team, and will be responsible for growing Towers Watson's executive compensation market share.

Based in London, Reid has been with Towers Watson and its predecessor firms since 1991. He focuses primarily on advising remuneration committees and boards of major global companies on a broad range of executive compensation issues, including incentive design and shareholder consultation.
