Thomson Reuters has acquired Toronto-based Webcasting software firm Streamlogics, effective as of July 1. The financial terms of the deal remain undisclosed.

Streamlogics, founded in 1999, is a privately held provider of Webcasting applications and services in North America, with a strong presence in the financial, health care, and technology sectors. Thomson Reuters is a $13 billion company with operations in 93 countries.

In addition to being the world's leading source of intelligent information for businesses and professionals, Thomson Reuters is the largest Webcast provider in the world with Webcast broadcast centers across Germany, Hong Kong, Britain, and the United States.
