The Hartford Financial Services Group, a provider of insurance and wealth management services, has the retirement of Lizabeth Zlatkus, executive vice president and chief risk officer. The Hartford is launching an internal and external search for her successor.

Zlatkus joined The Hartford in 1983 in the company's property and casualty operations. Throughout her career at the company, she served in a variety of operational and finance roles, including president of international wealth management and group benefits, co-chief operating officer of life operations and chief financial officer of The Hartford. Zlatkus began her professional career at Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co. (now KPMG).
