Amazon.com has elected Jonathan Rubinstein to its board of directors, the company announced in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Dec. 17.

Rubinstein is senior vice president and general manager of the Palm Global Business Unit of the Hewlett-Packard Company.
