Asset bank holding company Sun National Bank has appointed Albert Celini as executive vice president and chief risk officer. In this capacity, he will oversee the credit, operational and market risk management for the bank, as well as working with the legal and compliance teams to manage and mitigate regulatory risk.

Celini's 25-year career includes experience in finance, risk management, regulatory compliance, governance and business development. Prior to joining Sun National Bank, he served as vice president of regulatory advisory and strategy at Freddie Mac.

Previously, Celini spent a decade as chief financial officer, chief risk officer and director of lending development at Ally Bank. Other past roles include financial officer at Citibank and public accountant and Arthur Andersen.
