Smarsh, a provider of hosted archiving solutions for business communications, this month announced that it has been selected to the LinkedIn Certified Compliance Partner program.

LinkedIn's Certified Compliance Partners program provide monitoring, archiving, and management of communications for enterprises in regulated industries. They help business social interactions remain effective while ensuring compliance with corporate governance policies and major regulations.

The Smarsh Archiving Platform now offers enhanced support for LinkedIn, which is designed to enable financial services firms to leverage the business value of LinkedIn, while meeting the record-keeping and supervision requirements of the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, and other international regulatory agencies.

Developed in conjunction with LinkedIn, Smarsh captures content through a direct connection with LinkedIn APIs. Customers can search and supervise their organization's LinkedIn activity, including company pages, profiles, posts and groups.

Organizations also have the ability to:

Preserve LinkedIn content in an unalterable format that is easily producible for regulatory examinations, audits or e-discovery events;

Search and review LinkedIn content intelligently in a new interface designed to showcase the full conversation and context of posts, comments and messages;

Leverage the Archiving Platform's universal search capabilities across all supported content, including email, instant messaging, mobile, and other social platforms; and

Manage the provisioning of archiving for each LinkedIn account with self-service administrative tools.
