Scientific Games, a developer of technology-based products and services for gaming and lottery markets, has named Andrew Tomback as senior vice president and general counsel, effective as of Dec. 1.

Tomback joins Scientific Games with 25 years of experience in government service, business and private practice. Prior to joining the company, Tomback served as a partner at law firm Zuckerman, Spaeder. Previously, he was a partner at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley and McCloy.

Prior to entering private practice, Tomback was deputy general counsel of the Resolution Trust Corporation, a U.S. government-owned asset management company established in 1989 to liquidate the assets of insolvent savings and loan. Tomback also served as an assistant U.S. Attorney in the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney's Office, Southern District of New York.
