CPA and business advisory firm Rothstein Kass announced that Gary Arrick has joined as a principal in the Business Advisory Services Group. Arrick will be based in the New York office, where he will serve as East Coast Practice Leader of the Litigation & Forensic Accounting Services team.

In his new role, Arrick will be responsible for the strategic growth of the practice, including business origination and brand development. He continues to specialize in forensic accounting matters and investigations of financial misconduct and regulatory issues as well as assisting clients in business and contract disputes, and compliance matters.

In other news, Rothstein Kass also announced that Kevin Beirne, an expert in litigation and investigative matters has joined the firm as a director in its New York office and will work with Arrick on the growth of the practice.

Prior to joining Rothstein Kass, Arrick held senior positions with Big Four and other national accounting and consulting firms, and was most recently a managing director with Huron Consulting Group. During his career, Arrick has directed numerous complex financial investigations. Arrick’s areas of expertise include reconstruction of financial transactions, asset tracing and recovery, reporting of remediation opportunities and coordination with law enforcement, as well as disputes and litigation consulting. His experience spans vertical industry segments including automotive, consumer products, construction, energy, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, and software.
