Reliance Industries Limited, India's largest private-sector enterprise with more than $58 billion in annual U.S. revenues with businesses in the energy and materials sector, has appointed K Sethuraman as the group's company secretary and chief compliance officer. Sethuraman assumes the roles from Vinod Ambani, the company said in a regulatory filing.

India-based telecommunications company, Reliance Communications, also has seen a change in appointment of its compliance officer and corporate secretary. In May, Reliance Communications announced the appointment of Prakash Shenoy as compliance officer, company secretary, and manager, effective as of June 1.

Shenoy had replaced Hasit Shukla, who had resigned from the post. "Shukla will continue to oversee company secretarial and other functions of the company," Reliance Communications had said in a regulatory filing.
