Butler

The $164 billion Ford Motor Company recently announced the election of Stephen Butler, former chairman and CEO of KPMG, to the company's board of directors. Butler, who retired from KPMG in 2002 after 33 years with the company, is also a board member at ConAgra Foods and Cooper Industries. The appointment, effective immediately, brings Ford's number of directors to 16. Butler will serve as a member of the board's audit, finance and nominating and governance committees. He joins a board that includes Nokia CEO Jorma Ollila, former Wells Fargo CEO Carl Reichardt, and former U.S. Secretary of the Treasury Robert Rubin.
