Regions Financial Corporation, with $133 billion in assets, has named Matthew Lusco as senior executive vice president and chief risk officer, effective in early 2011. In this capacity, he will lead the risk management group and will serve as a member of the company's executive council and operating committee.

Lusco joins Regions from KPMG, where he was a managing partner. In this role, he provided audit and business advisory services to publicly and privately held companies, among other duties. Prior to joining KPMG, Lusco was with Arthur Andersen from 1989 to 2002, where he most recently served as a managing partner.
