Electrical equipment manufacturer, Regal Beloit, has appointed Peter Underwood as vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary, effective Sept. 27.

In this capacity, Underwood will be responsible for all legal activities. He will report directly to CEO, Henry Knueppel. Underwood joins Regal Beloit from the law firm Foley & Lardner, where he served as partner and specialized in mergers and acquisitions, securities law and corporate governance.
