$89 billion Royal Bank of Scotland Group, based in the United Kingdom, has appointed Rajesh Jogi as chief risk officer, India. He assumes the position from Samir Parkash, who is moving to Singapore to assume his new role as head of corporate credit, global banking and markets, Asia-Pacific.

In this role, Jogi will be responsible for overseeing enterprise-wide risk management for India and will be based in Mumbai, according to a corporate press release. He joins RBS from Citibank, where he spent nearly 17 years, most recently as senior credit officer for India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, where he covered Citi India's credit portfolio.
