Stuntz

$18.1 billion defense contractor Raytheon recently named Linda Stuntz, former deputy secretary of the U.S. Department of Energy, to its board of directors. Stuntz is a principal in the law practice of Stuntz, Davis & Staffier, specializing in energy and environmental issues, as well as matters relating to government support of technology development and transfer. Stuntz serves on the boards of Schlumberger Limited and American Electric Power, and is a member of the Energy Bar Association. In separate news, Raytheon CEO and long-time director William Swanson was appointed the company's chairman of the board, replacing the recently retired Daniel Burnham. Former U.S. Senator Warren Rudman will remain lead independent director of Raytheon.
