PricewaterhouseCoopers has announced that Darrell Poplock has returned to the firm as a partner in the Federal Tax Services Group. In his most recent role, Poplock served on the Joint Committee on Taxation.

Prior to his tenure on the Joint Committee on Taxation, Poplock served in various roles at PwC where he spent time in both the Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. offices. In the Los Angeles office, Poplock served as a director of overall client services where his responsibilities included large multinational corporations. In addition, while in Washington, D.C., Poplock served as a national accounting methods specialist and a subject matter expert for tax shelter regulations.

In other news, the firm has tapped David Schenck as a partner in the International Services Group. Schenck comes to PwC from Genworth Financial where he served as senior vice president and tax director. In this capacity, Schenck was responsible for all aspects of worldwide tax operations.

Schenck brings with him significant expertise in international tax, cross-border financial transactions, and insurance tax. He will support the practice offices on significant transactions and clients.
