The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency has appointed Ellen Warwick as director for enforcement and compliance. Warwick will oversee the OCC's law department division that conducts investigations, recommends administrative actions, and litigates those enforcement actions.

Warwick has served as assistant director for enforcement and compliance at the OCC since July 2011. Prior to that, she served as assistant director for the organization's litigation division, and as special counsel and then senior counsel in the administrative and internal law division.

Earlier in her career, Warwick served as a trial attorney with the civil division, commercial litigation branch at the U.S. Department of Justice. She also served as a litigation attorney in private practice and as a prosecutor in the Essex District Attorney's Office of Massachusetts.
