Engedi has announced the release of Key2 Control that gives system and record administrators the power to stop security breaches of network and control systems before they occur.

When an authorized individual requests to perform a function that is governed by Key2 Control multi-party authorization—whether flipping a switch, resetting system passwords, or accessing a private electronic record—the client sends a request to the 2Key Server to bring in a second set of eyes to review the desired action before it takes place. The request includes the identity of the authorized individual and the function they want to perform.

The authorizer can then approve, disapprove, or request a conference with the person to complete the function. More information on the new Key2 Control can be found here.
