China Green Material Technologies, a China-based maker and developer of starch-based biodegradable containers, tableware, and packaging materials, has appointed Yi (Jenny) Liu to its board of directors, effective as of June 11. She has also been appointed chair of the nominating and corporate governance committee, and as a member of the audit and compensation committees.

Liu, who replaces Jing Zhu, most recently served as CFO of Rino International, where she was responsible for SEC reporting, mergers and acquisitions, investments and strategic partnerships, financing activities, and investor relations. Previously, Liu spent three years as principal financial officer and chief accounting officer for China Direct.
