NCB, a federally chartered savings bank, has appointed James Glantz as chief risk officer. Glantz assumes this role from Mark Hiltz, who is retiring after 30 years with the bank.

Glantz began his 22-year career at NCB as an internal auditor. He most recently served as senior vice president and director of regulatory compliance. He also served as a regulatory compliance resource and training consultant at the NCB family of companies.

In his new role, he will be responsible for the bank's enterprise risk management. He will also manage loan review, internal audit, information security and regulatory compliance functions.
