Microsoft announced that, as of this month, all of its partners worldwide will be required to provide anti-corruption training to all their employees who resell, distribute, or market Microsoft products or services.

“Microsoft holds itself to high standards for legal compliance and ethical business practices and expects its partners to do the same,” the company stated. The announcement was made in its Partner Network Disclosure Guide.

Microsoft stated that its partner network agreement “outlines specific requirements for compliance with anti-corruption laws.”

“If your company does not already have anti-corruption training, you will have access to an online course through the Partner Learning Center to satisfy the requirement,” the guide stated. The guide did not go into detail, however, on what specific course material will be provided to partners, or what the potential costs might be.
