Mead Johnson Nutrition Company, a manufacturer and distributor of pediatric nutrition, has appointed Celeste Clark to its board of directors. Her appointment expands the size of the board from nine to ten members.

Clark is senior vice president of global public policy and external relations and chief sustainability officer for the Kellogg Company. Clark joined Kellogg in 1977, advancing through numerous management positions across a range of business functions, including nutrition, marketing, promotions and communications. She transitioned from a U.S. role to a global role in 1996, and was named Kellogg's chief sustainability officer in 2008.

At Kellogg, Clark is responsible for providing leadership to the company's worldwide nutrition, regulatory, communications and corporate social responsibility functions. She is also a company liaison worldwide between professional associations, government agencies and trade associations on nutrition and health policy and marketing practices.
