Ana-Paola Capaldo has been named assistant general counsel for global compliance and ethics at Laureate Education, a global higher-education provider.

In this new role, Capaldo assists with  implementing and maintaining Laureate’s ethics and compliance program, responsible for worldwide implementation of the anti-corruption program, including policy development, risk assessment, training, communication, controls, and auditing; as well as due diligence protocols for third-party agents and consultants and acquisitions.

Formerly, she was with MDO Partners, a boutique compliance firm, where she served as associate counsel and focused on corporate law, global compliance, and business ethics.
