Kroll, a provider of risk solutions, has brought on three senior hires to accelerate growth within the compliance market.  

Kevin Braine joins the firm as managing director, head of EMEA for the compliance practice. Braine, who will be based in London, will beresponsible for driving forward the expansion of Kroll’s compliance services throughout the region. He has extensive experience assisting clients in areas such as pre-transaction due diligence, hostile M&A support activities, third-party agent screening, and market and competitor intelligence gathering. Braine’s most recent roles include director of business intelligence services at Deloitte in London and director of corporate investigations for Western Europe for Control Risks.

Steven Bock was appointed vice president of operations and process excellence. He will lead overall due diligence process improvement and operations automation initiatives across the practice, with a focus on providing the highest quality products and services for Kroll’s clients. Based in New York City, he joins Kroll after a successful 17-year career at Goldman Sachs, where he held a variety of top roles spanning the disciplines of business intelligence, anti-money laundering compliance, process control and crisis management.

John Arvanitis has joined as an associate managing director for the compliance practice. Arvanitis comes to Kroll’s compliance business after a distinguished 27-year career with the Justice Department, Drug Enforcement Administration. Based in Boston, he is advising clients on anti-money laundering matters and other aspects of compliance programs.
