Global investigations firm Kroll has appointed Neil Kirton as managing director within its Investigations and Disputes team.  He will be based in Kroll's London office focusing on the banking and broader financial services sector, including fund managers, private banks and family offices.

Prior to joining Kroll, Kirton spent his career in investment banking, holding a number of senior positions within the securities industry, including head of U.K. equity sales and deputy chief executive of Hoare Govett.  He also was a member of the managing board of ABN AMRO's Global Equity Directorate, and managed equity distribution across its worldwide network of offices.

Kirton has also worked as a head of corporate finance, securities chief executive and served as a group board director of a U.K. bank. During his 28-year career, he has built substantial knowledge of the capital markets industry and advised numerous corporates both domestically and internationally.
