$10.3 billion Eastman Kodak has appointed Susan Wylie as assistant secretary, effective immediately. She will report to Laurence Hickey, corporate secretary and chief governance officer.

Wylie joined Kodak in 1999 as a lawyer in the consumer and professional imaging business. She most recently served as chief counsel for Kodak’s graphic communications group. She succeeds Patrick Sheller, who held the post for two years.

The company also announced the appointment of Terry Taber as a vice president, also effective immediately. Taber, who has 28 years of experience at Kodak, most recently was promoted to chief technical officer, a position he will assume on Jan. 1, 2009. He joined Kodak in 1980 and is currently the chief operating officer of the Image Sensor Solutions business.
