$37.5 billion Intel has announced the appointments of John Donahoe and Frank Yeary to its board of directors. Both members also serve on the audit committee.

Donahoe, who joined eBay in 2005, has served as president and CEO since 2008. Prior to joining eBay, Donahoe spent more than 20 years at Bain & Company, a worldwide consulting firm, serving last as CEO.

Yeary is vice chancellor of the University of California Berkeley. Prior to this appointment in 2008, Yeary retired as global head of mergers and acquisitions for Citigroup after nearly 25 years in finance.

In other news, the semiconductor manufacturer also announced the departure of Carol Bartz, CEO, Yahoo! from the board.
