Ingredion (formerly Corn Products International), a global ingredients solutions provider specializing in sweetners, starches and nutrition ingredients, has appointed Matthew Galvanoni as corporate controller and vice president. He assumes this position from Robin Kornmeyer, who will be retiring next year and will serve as interim vice president of special projects.

Galvanoni also will serve as principal accounting officer, responsible for coordinating, administering and controlling the accounting operations. He will oversee the preparation and filing of SEC reports, and compliance with general accounting principles, practices, control requirements and other financial regulations.

Galvanoni joined the company in June after 10 years with Exelon Corporation, where he most recently served as assistant corporate controller and vice president. Prior to that, he served as senior manager of assurance at PwC.
