The International Centre for Financial Regulation has appointed Michel Prada as non-executive director to its board of directors. In addition to shaping the ICFR’s agenda, Prada will use his international experience and expertise to develop key relationships on a global scale.

Prada is the former chairman of the Autorité des Marchés Financiers, France, as well as a member of the Financial Crisis Advisory Group set by the International Accounting Standards Board and the U.S. Financial Accounting Standards Board to consider financial reporting issues arising from the global financial crisis. He is chairman of the Board of Trustees of the International Valuation Standards Council.

Prada served as the Inspecteur des Finances for France from 1966 to 1970 and subsequently in several distinguished capacities within the French financial services community, including chairman of the Executive Committee of the International Organization of Securities Commissions.
