Furniture company Herman Miller has appointed Jeffrey Stutz as chief accounting officer, effective as of Aug 7. He assumes this position from Gregory Bylsma, chief financial officer and executive vice president.

Stutz, who joined Herman Miller in 2004, previously served as the company's treasurer and vice president of investor relations. He will continue his responsibilities as treasurer.

Stutz  previously served as CFO at furniture company izzy+ from 2008 to 2009. Prior to that, he worked for Donnelly Corporation. He also served as an auditor at Deloitte.
