Harry & David Holdings, a multichannel specialty retailer and producer of branded premium gift-quality fruit and gourmet food products and gifts, has appointed David Rogalski to the position of vice president, corporate controller and chief accounting officer.

In his new role, Rogalski will oversee the company's accounting and reporting functions going forward. Rogalski joins Harry & David Holdings from ecoFridge, a commercial transport refrigeration systems company, where he served as chief financial officer.

Prior to joining ecoFridge, he was vice president of finance and corporate controller for Cornerstone Brands, and vice president of finance and corporate controller for Norwood Promotional Products. Earlier in his career, he held financial leadership positions at XeTel Corporation and Travis Boats & Motors.

In other news

Harry & David Holdings also appointed Charles Hunsinger as senior vice president and chief information officer. He will be responsible for all IT applications and infrastructure across Harry & David's operations.

Previously, Hunsinger served as executive vice president of Information Technology for Musician's Friend, a musical instrument internet retailer. Before joining Musician's Friend, he served as chief information officer of Corporate Express US, and, earlier in his career, as a consulting manager with Accenture.
