Global commerce platform WEX announced that Sara Trickett has been appointed chief legal officer and corporate secretary.

Trickett, who will report to Melissa Smith, chief executive and president, was most recently the acting general counsel and assistant corporate secretary.

She joined WEX in 2021 and has served in various leadership roles at the company, including deputy general counsel and vice president, corporate legal services. Prior to this, she held other senior legal roles at Visa and Latham & Watkins.
