Global business and technology consulting firm West Monroe announced that Kamau Coar will join the firm as general counsel, effective Jan. 1.

Coar previously served as counsel at global law firm Nixon Peabody. Prior to that, he served as the chief legal officer of Heidrick & Struggles, a publicly traded global executive search firm.
