TRAC Intermodal, a marine chassis provider and pool manager, announced Katherine Whalen is joining as executive vice president and chief legal officer.

Whalen will report to TRAC President and Chief Executive Daniel Walsh. She will lead all legal, compliance, and regulatory functions across TRAC and will be company secretary for its board of directors.

She was most recently senior vice president, general counsel of Americas at Azelis, a global specialty chemical distribution business. She began her career in private practice at Edwards & Angell (now Locke Lord) and later at Weil, Gotshal & Manges.
