Target Corporation announced that Amy Tu has been named chief legal and compliance officer and corporate secretary, effective Aug. 25.

Tu started her career in retail with senior legal roles at companies such as Walmart and The Gap. She also held numerous leadership positions at Boeing.

She was named executive vice president and general counsel of Tyson Foods in 2017. Tu also later served as chief legal officer and secretary, global governance and corporate affairs, and most recently as president, international at Tyson Foods.
