Business law firm Shutts & Bowen announced that its Tallahassee Office Managing Partner, Benjamin Gibson, was appointed general counsel of the Republican National Lawyers Association.
He previously served on the RNLA’s Board of Governors as national secretary for the past two years and served as the Florida Chapter Chair for the last four years.
Gibson also has served as Chief Legal Counsel to the Republican Party of Florida for the past four election cycles.
Correction: A previous version of this story misstated Gibson’s role at Shutts & Bowen, and the nature of the RNLA announcement. He was appointed general counsel and elected to the RNLA Board of Governors.
