Analytics provider Moody’s Corp. announced the promotion of Francisco Martinez-Garcia to chief diversity, equity, and inclusion officer.

Martinez-Garcia, who joined Moody’s in 2019, most recently served as global talent partner for Moody’s investors service; environmental, social, and governance solutions; and technology services group.

He will focus on attracting, growing, and retaining diverse talent and will ensure the company’s culture of belonging remains a competitive advantage. He will be responsible for driving a data-driven approach to diverse representation and expanding boundaries to reflect the many geographies and stakeholders the company serves.

Prior to Moody’s, Martinez-Garcia worked for Colgate-Palmolive for more than 15 years in various human resources roles in the United States, Mexico, and Switzerland.
