Registered investment adviser Heron Finance announced it hired Michael Jen as head of compliance.

As head of compliance, Jen will focus on investment advisory compliance oversight, implementation, and strategic initiatives. He will report to General Counsel Christopher Robins.

Jen’s previous experience includes serving as chief compliance officer/director at Silicon Valley venture capital family office Gopher Asset Management U.S, vice president of compliance at BlackRock, and VP of compliance at Wells Fargo Securities.
