The Goldman Sachs Group announced the appointment of Alex Golten as chief risk officer of the firm.
Golten most recently served as head of market risk and finance risk. He has also been the firm’s chief credit risk officer, head of enterprise risk and co-head of credit risk for EMEA.
He joined Goldman Sachs in 1997 as an analyst, was named managing director in 2008 and partner in 2014.
