Defense Metals announced the appointment of Suzanne Rich Folsom, who was most recently senior vice president and general counsel at Philip Morris International, to the board of directors of the company.

Previously, Folsom was general counsel, chief compliance officer, and SVP-government affairs, at U.S. Steel Corporation.

Her career includes senior corporate executive roles, including EVP, general counsel, and chief compliance officer at ACADEMI, deputy GC and chief regulatory & compliance officer at AIG, and counselor to the president and director of the Department of Institutional Integrity at the World Bank.
