Bernhard Schulte Shipmanagement announced the appointment of Bjoern Sprotte as chief people and sustainability officer.

Sprotte will report to Chief Executive Ian Beveridge.

He was earlier with V.Group, where he served as the chief executive of the ship management business. Prior to that, he spent four years in a number of senior roles at OSM Maritime.

Rickmers Group was where he started his career and rose from nautical officer to chief executive of maritime services over a period of 15 years. He then moved to the position of vice president at Carnival Maritime.
