Franklin Templeton Investments has appointed Robert Rosselot as director of global compliance. He reports to Executive Vice President and General Counsel Craig Tyle. 

Rosselot joined Franklin Templeton Investments in 2001 and has over 20 years of experience as an attorney working in the mutual fund industry. Most recently, he served as senior associate general counsel in the legal department.

In his new role, Rosselot will oversee a team of 50 individuals in 16 different countries that administers the company's code of ethics and business conduct policy and monitors compliance risks associated with the investment management and mutual fund business.

Prior to joining the company, Rosselot served as associate general counsel and secretary of money market and global equity funds at Prudential Investments. Earlier in his career, he was a partner at a private law firm and served as senior corporate counsel at Federated Investors.
